What I Wore October 7th

Lee and I went to Sheffield on October 7th to hang around with Bettie and Jen as we'd not seen them in a while. We went to their house to begin with and ate sausage sandwiches. Then we went out to Rassan's, the dessert restaurant, which is what we did with them last time but it's really nice there and I like it.

I pulled out this mint green flocked dress from Lovedrobe, I don't wear it often because it feels quite short on me, but I decided that with thick leggings it would be fine. The weather had dropped cool so I put my long leggings on, and then my ankle boots. I love these boots, I got them last winter and didn't wear them much so I'm looking forward to wearing them lots this winter. I even put socks on even though I don't wear socks, because they make the boots more comfortable. I've also decided I need to wear some of my pin badges more often, now they're all nicely in their little board ready, so I chose the mint green one to put on my cardigan.

At Rassan's I had ice Vimto, which was unusual but delicious, and hot cookie dough, which I really like and often choose!

What I Wore August 21st

I bought a new dress to go out on Lee's birthday. I'd done some sale shopping with Simply Be, but ended up only keeping this. I really like it, but it's a bit different from what I would usually wear I think. It's from Lovedrobe and it feels quite short on me but I don't think it looks too short, so I'm just going to suck it up and wear it!

I love Bardot style stops, I like how they look on me and this works better than most and stays where it's supposed to. I love the stripes, I think this is a dress you could wear at any time of year and it would look good. I will definitely be wearing this more!

What I Wore 28th December

Well, Christmas passed in a blur, in a nice enough way filled with family and travelling, but it always goes SO fast and then I find the week between Christmas and New Year really hard to deal with. Lee was off all week though so on the Wednesday we decided we would go to see Rogue One before we went to have curry with some friends. We went for lunch first, paid for with a gift card Lee's mum gave us, and then went to the cinema. We both really liked the film - it was so sad though, especially watching it the day after Carrie Fisher died!

Anyway, I wore this dress that I bought ages ago but hadn't worn in forever. I know it's really bright, but I needed to brighten up the day. I love the colours on it. It's from Lovedrobe but like I say it's a year or two ago.

What I Wore 26th May

I haven't been taking many outfit photos recently as I've been in a real low mood and also haven't been going out much, meaning that I haven't been wearing much to write about (my in-house clothing choices leave a LOT to be desired!)

However, at the end of May I had a really busy week seeing several friends and going to events meaning that I took photos of my outfits and what I was doing. All these posts are finally getting me caught up!

Anyway, on Tuesday 26th May I went to Leeds to see my friend Gillian. She is getting married very soon so we were talking about that. We went to Frankie and Benny's which was delicious as usual.

I wore this pink Lovedrobe dress that I bought from Evans in the New Year sales for just £12. I haven't worn it before. The lighting in the lift where I took the photo wasn't great, but it's a lovely bright pink in real life. I wore it with this black shrug from New Look.

It's a shift dress which I wouldn't usually go for, but I think it looked nice!

What I Wore 11th April

I've been writing writing writing and I finally got to a good threshhold on Saturday 11th April. Our new kitchen was sitting in flat packs in the old kitchen which made cooking really difficult, so Lee and I decided to go out for tea. I wanted Mexican food but there's no Mexican restaurant in Barnsley. Lee remembered that there's a Las Iguanas in Meadowhall, so off we went.

I recently got these cardigans from Peacocks for £10 in the sale. I got a kelly green one, a mint green one, and this pale pink one. They're a size 22 but they fit me well enough.

The dress I got from the clothes swap in Sheffield, I believe it was originally Lolly's. It's a Lovedrobe one, I love the pattern on it.

What I Wore October 5th

So yesterday I went to Doncaster for the second Rad Fat shopping trip. (The first one I wrote about here). There were only four of us but that made it really manageable I think; a good number. We went to Simply Be, Yours, New Look, Primark, and more! I'll share what I bought later, of course.

I thought I'd show you my nails and jewellery. The nail polish is Holbein Place by Nails Inc and it took two coats which impressed me! My watch is from Argos and Lee has a matching one that's green. My bracelet was from Primark a few years ago.
